More About Mugworts

At Mugworts we are passionate about scented candles. We always have been. Who doesn’t like the feeling of lighting their favourite scented candle. As consumers we have used many different brands. Just like the many different scents available, we also found the quality of the candles varied greatly. So we decided to have a go at making our own. For our own personal use

Of course when we first started there was lots of mistakes. Ranging from candles not burning correctly or tunnelling. To the scents not lasting longer than five minutes. Although the candles were only for us, we still wanted to get it right. With a bit of research and a lot of practice we managed to get the candles how we wanted them. They burnt correctly. A nice even burn all the way down.

The scents also lasted to the very end. Once we had cracked how to make scented candles we started to experiment with different scents…
