Just A Little About Who We Are And What We Do.
At Mugworts we are passionate about scented candles. We always have been. Who doesn’t like the feeling of lighting their favourite scented candle. As consumers we have used many different brands. Just like the many different scents available, we also found the quality of the candles varied greatly. So we decided to have a go at making our own. For our onw personal use.
Of course when we first started there was lots of mistakes. Ranging from candles not burning correctly or tunnelling. To the scents not lasting longer than five minutes. Although the candles were only for us, we still wanted to get it right. With a bit of research and a lot of practice we managed to get the candles how we wanted them. They burnt correctly. A nice even burn all the way down. The scents also lasted to the very end. Once we had cracked how to make scented candles we started to experiment with different scents. We would spend hours mixing different scents together. Coming up with all sorts of weird and wonderful concoctions.
After a while we wounded if anyone else would like what we were doing. So we decided to put some on ebay and they proved to be very popular. Within no time we had an ebay store up and running. A little later we opened up our Etsy store.
Mugworts was founded in 2018 and we have been enjoying making scented candles and wax melts full time. Our aim is to bring you high quality candles and wax melts that have a long, even burn time. With scents that will fill you room to make you feel warm, cosy and happy. Bringing back wonderful memories that will make you smile.

We hand make all of our candles and wax melts. We only use eco soy wax. Our master blenders use fine fragrance oils. Together we can ensure your candles have a lengthy burn time. Approx 40 hours on a 190 ml jar. With a scent that will fill your room to the very end of the candle.
